Well it all worked out well! We had a great fellowship day on Tuesday. What started out as a well organised meeting started unravelling around 11.30am our guest speaker Erin Wayman from CoGB emailed Bob to say she was ill and going home and apologised for not making it to our meeting. Our normal room was changed because of a big Girton Function being prepared for. We had no podium or microphone. Then, up stepped our great members! We all just got on with it. Peter Hyett gave us a history and the philosophy of Peppergreen Farm, where we are going on Tuesday and then PP Val Broad, although still jet lagged, gave us a precis of her trip to Amiens in France with the Youth Choir and the celebrations of the 100yr anniversary of the end of WW1. Valerie will be speaking more about her trip on November 13th. Put in your diaries High Tea with RC Bendigo South on the Sunday 11th Nov. We are having a Club trip to support them.
We now have 50 stalls registered for the Spring Twilight Market, 9 of them food stalls. There will be wine , food, lots of craft stalls( great for Christmas presents) face painting, music and Come & Try Disc Golf and of course Gnome Painting!! Friday Oct 26th 4-8pm Bendigo South East College Ellis St Flora Hill.
Remember, we at not at Bendigo Club on Tuesday but at Peppergreen Farm Thunder Street Bendigo, start time 12.30pm. See you all then
