The life of Reilly... 07 February 2017
Always thought of the bowls night as one our yearly highlights and Tuesday night certainly reinforced that. Yes we clearly had some 'faulty' bowls as they just would not go where they were supposed to! The laughter, serious looks and friendly competition all came to the fore. Well done to Daryl Watts and Brian Doherty and to all the helpers with the food, great night! It was pointed out that for the 2nd year in a row the team with our exchange student has won the event, congratulations Laure for getting them over the line!
This Saturday night we have a fun social night planned, or Rhonda or I have and we are looking forward to having you all over for the President's BBQ. It will be a real aussie bbq with the heat and no doubt some flies and lots of laughs. 6.30pm at 35 Keogh Dve, Spring Gully. Bring your own drinks and a chair.
Don't forget to let the Bear (Ian Coates) know if you can make our onsite visit to Keech Castings (Laser Technology, 25 Hesling Crt, Bendigo East) on Tuesday night 21st February. This will be in place of our lunchtime meeting and we will be having a meal together at The Rifle Hotel afterwards. Great chance to see first hand some of the amazing technology we have right here in Bendigo. Let Bear know if you can make it, guests and partners certainly welcome.
Have a great week everyone and I'll see most of you on Saturday night!
Yours in Rotary
